Ilèkùn Wa is opening a new door!
Since 2015, Ilèkùn Wa has supported 1,200+ artists of African descent, from Atlanta and Lagos to Paris, New York, and Jackson, Mississippi. I, the founder, Jeremiah Olayinka Ojo, began with a vision to change the trajectory of Black artists by creating new pathways for them to CREATE, SUSTAIN, and THRIVE through professional development and capacity building. Now I close that door and prepare a new one… a big one, an old one, and one that will add to the great work already done.
I welcome you to Ilèkùn Wa Studio, an anti-disciplinary design studio designing at the intersections of Black cultural heritage and community engagement through historic preservation!
Exciting, right?!?
